He proved He is with us in the storm when we saw the craziest surge of water in a normally babbling brook turn into a raging torrent that reached our house unlike any other big storm here. We had no structural damage but a lot of bank is gouged out now. Funny thing is, no one can see it unless they walk onto our property despite how close to the road we are. Life has been crazy good and scary this past week and your post is a great reminder that things will happen, but He is with us.
