Thank you so much for this blog — it was clarifying, honest, and deeply moving.

We’ve experienced leadership abuse ourselves, and the damage it caused was real. One of the hardest parts has been learning to trust again, especially in new church settings. That kind of betrayal lingers. But I truly believe, like you wrote, that healing is possible. Maybe not all at once, but slowly — Jesus can soften and tend even the deepest wounds.

I also loved your personal example — so well told, and just the right touch of humor to make me smile (even while reading about something so hard 😊).
